Speed!

Speed may have absolute measurements, but experiencing speed is very relative. If you are riding in a boat on a lake, the boat will appear to move very fast even though its speed may only be about 20 knots (about 30 kph). However, a bullet train or high speed rail may be travelling at about 300 kph and only the objects closest to the train window appear to be moving fast, while objects which are farther away may not seem to be moving quite so quickly. If you are in a Boeing 777, cruising at about 10,000 metres and at speeds of about 900 kph, the clouds and other visible objects appear to move rather slowly even if the field of vision is much wider. Similarly, God has a wider field of vision than ours and is travelling at much higher speeds than we are at ground level. His vision is superior to what we can achieve and trusting his vision makes all the difference in the world.
